A counter is a digital electronic device which measures the frequency of an input signal. Refer to the selection guide to select the bench counter that best meets your needs.

In addition to frequency measurement, some counters can also measure the period of the input signal, the ratio of the frequency of two input signals or totalize a specific group of events. B&K Precision's handheld RF frequency counters measure frequency of over the air radio signals up to 3 GHz.
